Lecturer in Accounting & Finance, University of Mauritius
Neeveditah is a lecturer in Accounting & Finance. Her main research and teaching interests lie in the areas of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainable development and Reporting. Her research considers diverse empirical settings such as companies, banks, corporate foundations, NGOs and educational institutions. With an academic career of over a decade, she strongly believes that Education brings social change both at the level of the individual and society at large. Educators are the ‘agents of change’ and education represents the stimulus that can bring the change we aspire to for a better, sustainable future by moulding the minds. In her pursuit to promote change towards sustainable development, she adopts a more proactive, applied research approach by collaborating with the Industry, NGOs, Ministries and International Centers for research. She is highly interested in bridging the gap between Academia and Industry by adopting a more problem solving and stakeholder driven approach.
