Robin Nunkoo is an associate professor in the Faculty of Law and Management at the University of Mauritius; a Visiting Senior Research Fellow in the Faculty of Management at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa; an Adjunct Professor at Griffith Institute for Tourism, Griffith University, Australia; and a Visiting Researcher at the Copenhagen Business School, University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
Robin holds a PhD from the University of Waterloo, Canada; a Master of Philosophy in Tourism Economics; a Master’s degree in Tourism Management; and a Master’s degree in Development Administration, both from the University of Westminster, UK; and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Mumbai, India. Robin is frequently invited as a speaker for international conferences.
Robin has research interests in quantitative methods, public trust in government, and tourism development and has written books on tourism planning, sustainable tourism, and research methodologies.
Robin is the associate editor for Annals of Tourism Research, Journal of Hospitality Marketing and Management, and Tourism Review.
Robin has published widely in leading journals such as Annals of Tourism Research, Tourism Management, Journal of Travel Research, European Business Review, Government Information Quarterly, and International Journal of Information Management.
