Robin is the Managing Partner of Dentons Mauritius where he heads the Banking, Corporate Finance and Commercial practices.
He holds a “Licence en Droit” (First Class) and a “Maitrise en Droit” (First Class) from the University of Aix-Marseille III Faculty of Law, Aix-en-Provence, France. He also holds a Master of Laws, Magna Cum Laude, (LL.M) from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law. He was admitted to practice as an Attorney/Solicitor in Mauritius in 1997.
He was previously a Law lecturer at University of Mauritius Faculty of Law (1997-2000) in International Law, Private International Law/Conflicts of Law and International Trade Law. As a law practitioner, Robin specialises in securities regulations and laws related to banking, insolvency, corporate finance and cross-border investments. He also has a special interest for international complex litigation and arbitration. He is ranked amongst the top lawyers in Mauritius and is recognized as a leading individual in the General Business Law section by Chambers and Partners.
